In the era of globalization and international trade, people from different cultures find it is difficult to communicate not only due to language barriers, but they are also affected by culture styles. Unavoidably, interaction between people from different cultural backgrounds leads to misunderstanding and sometimes conflicts. What then is cross-cultural communication, and how can we prevent misunderstanding when we are either trying to strike a business deal or just trying to get along with somebody from a different cultural background?
